1st Edition 10.2 x 13.7 cm red cloth with gilt stamped titles and decoration to the front and spine and an image from the book laid down on the front cover. 159[1]pp with 16 full page colour illustrations by Louis Wain. The boards are clean and bright with just a hint of rubbing. Internally there is a gift inscription to the front free endpaper and some spotting to the edge of the text block which impinges on the text pages at some points. The illustrations are all present and in very good condition. All in all a lovely copy of this hard to find Wain illustrated volume in better condition than is usually found.
