Much of the book is set in Paris, Brittany and Cornwall. Published by Henry Walker, London, 1931 (undated, as issued). First edition. Scarce - Worldcat only identifies 13 library holdings worldwide. Very good blue cloth hardback, with the spine head nicked. With original dustjacket, water-stained, with extremities frayed. Dustjacket housed in clear, removable plastic wrap. No splitting to endpapers. Small bookseller's sticker to first pastedown. Slight creasing to first blank free endpaper with faint stain to lower corner. Text is bright and clean throughout. Dust toning to top edge of text block. No foxing. Overall, a tight, soundly bound, crisp copy of a scarce publication. Text in English. 291pp + 5pp advertisements at rear. Dimensions: approx 190mm high x 132mm wide x 35mm deep. Weight: approximately 358g (unpacked).
