First edition. Small 8vo. pp viii, 120, (4). Coloured engraved title page Spring , and printed coloured frontis Engraved and Printed in Colours by Vizetelly Brothers and Co. Early price 2/ to inside of flyleaf in pencil. Original publisher s cloth in good, bright condition with the original patterned endpapers present both back and front. A little foxing, notably to the two plates, a small splash mark where presumably the illustrator allowed their brush to slip, otherwise a very nice example, with no annotations or markings, and all pages intact. Rather uncommon, particularly in this condition.
