Original paper printed boards, rubbed with loss of colour to both rear and back, rebacked in cloth with contrasting spine, retaining original printed endpapers, Internally, a very clean text. The guide covers mainly London, Westminster and the environs, with a thirty page appendix on the Great Exhibition to the rear. An interesting, and uncommon work, exactly contemporary with the Great Exhibition itself.
