Second edition, [1891], landscape folio, 303pp, 55 plates (some folding out, the last 17 of which are of other bridges), versos blank, brown cloth, gilt illustration of the bridge, black titles. In very good condition, the front flyleaf mostly missing, the boards a little grubby & edge worn.
Dealer Notes
Magnificent photographs of the bridge taken as it was being built by Philip Phillips, the son of one of the contractors. Work started on the bridge in 1882 and it was opened in 1890.
