The Fourth Of June, David Benedictus, Anthony Blond, 1962, First Edition, First Impression Considered controversial when the book was published in 1962, the story takes place at Eton College. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is minimal shelf wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is a mark to the first end paper and foxing to the top and fore edges. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in very good condition with slight loss to the corners of the front cover, a crease mark to the bottom of the front cover, nibbling to the top and bottom edges of the spine and nibbling to the top edge of the back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
