Two decorative gilt lines on turn overs, and attractive marbled paste downs and fly leaves. Gilt fore edges. Sun fading to spine. Ownership mark of Christabel Denton on front flyleaf.
This finely bound example of the popular Ingoldsby Legends has an interesting connection to Wilton, England. The binder, A M. Denton appears to share a last name with the book’s owner, Christabel Denton.
