Book Description
Ink signature to title-page upper margin ‘Geo Pryme.’ The Pryme family, of Huguenot extraction, arrived in Yorkshire from Europe around 1630, settling principally in the Hatfield Levels. Family members assisted Cornelius Vermuyden with drainage projects in the Levels during the following decade.
