Karl Pyck was an Austrian author and film director working in silent films in Austri and the US between 1903-1925.The present work first appeared in 1925 as "Die Stadt unter dem Meer" and may have been translated into English by him. It describes the construction by U-boat crews of an "Under the Sea City" from which it is intended to conquer the world.
