A very good copy of the August 1935 Third Impression in original grey printed wrappers (7¼"x4¼") continuous pagination 791+(i) Colophon. No ownership marks and in original slip case.[ An offshoot of the Albatross Press, the Odyssey Press was created for the sole purpose of publishing an edition of Ulysses on the continent at a time when British and American publishers, fearing prosecution for obscenity, were reluctant to take it on. It enjoyed the reputation of being regarded as the definitive standard edition, as it had been specially revised, at the author's request, by Stuart Gilbert.
