Unusual in original wrappers. Minor chipping to spine ends; double page coloured "Map to Illustrate the Birds of South America"at front. Top edge largely unopened, others untrimmed.
Dealer Notes
The intended vol. 2 (plates) was never completed, owing to the death of Lord Brabourne in WW1. Thirty-eight plates by Henrik Groenvold were issued in 1917 in a hand-coloured limited edition of 200 copies.
