No 213 in a limited edition reprint [the first in English] of 500 copies of Klingert's 1797 account of his two designs for diving apparatus; his semi atmospheric suit in which he derived his air from the surface by hoses and his second with a large tank of air which enabled the diver to go much deeper. A near fine copy in dustwrapper Quarto 51pps with 6 illustrations and an introduction by Michael Jung
