Dealer Notes
a beautifully coloured, and compact, folding panorama of Edinburgh, the Athens of the North, presented in six continuous panels, each view separately described in the 7-page booklet bound in at the back. The highly detailed plan, mounted behind the end panel, lists 120 places of interest. This appears to be a rare second edition of an already scarce panorama, originally published in January, 1847, by Ackermann & Co. and B.F. Lloyd, updated on the pictorial covers to October, 1848, still by Ackermann, but now with J. Menzies
