Published by Henry G. Bohn, London, 1838, 2nd edition with additional plates. Two volumes in matching half leather bindings with marbled boards. Five raised bands to spine, gilt lettering to compartments 2 and 4, gilt decorations to others. Teg. Folio, 15.25ins x 11.5ins. Volume one (Norfolk): marbled endpapers, xxvi, 67pp plus coloured frontis and 123pp plates. The frontis is plate 63, the rest of plates 1 to 111 are printed in yellow and black as are the 7 plates of the appendix, the 6 plates of the supplement are printed in brown and black. Quite a few plates are folding. There is an introductory essay by Dawson Turner. Volume two (Suffolk); iv, 31pp plus coloured frontis and 46pp other plates. As with volume one the plates are printed in yellow and black. In total there are 171 plates. The leather to both volumes is quite worn and rubbed. In particular the rear top corner of each volume is virtually lacking in its leather covering. Nevertheless, they are a sound, complete set of a scarce work. Internally VG, externally G+.
