Book Description
No.86 of 200 copies signed by the artist, quarto (325x270x21mm), full cloth with decorative initial blocked on front board, top edge coloured and deckle edges, housed in a slip case with brown paper over boards, very good, with a couple of bumps on corners of the s/c and minor bump on one book board, illustrated throughout with coloured and black & white engravings and linocuts mostly printed from the artist's original blocks, as well as line drawings, lithographs and paintings, printed on mould-made paper from St. Cuthberts Mill, Wookey Hole.
A grand production which allows the artist plenty of space, the book also includes a short biography by Lesley Macdonald and a chronology.
