Contains plates to the frontis , page 23 (fold-out with approx 5 cm split.) , page 243 monument to the slain Abbot and Monks, page 280 seals, page 334 old altar piece. Numerous charters granted by various Kings of the realm through history are also reproduced the whole giving a good history of the ( now) city of Peterborough.
