Kneale's Guide to the Isle of Man: comprising an account of the island, historical, physical, archeological, & topographical, and all the information desirable for visitors and tourists to which is appended a collection of entertaining Manx legends. 224pp.,engraved frontispiece, 11 engraved plates, and text vignettes. There is an additional plate at p.148 ‘Ramsay Bay, and Town.’ Original printed glazed boards with later linen cloth spine, new endpapers and paste-downs. Covers a little marked, some wear to the corner tips, and slight foxing.

~ This copy does not have a folding map, and there is a note at the end of the ‘list of illustrations’ that “Maps and numerous steel engravings will be found in the more expensive editions of this work.”
