Stone, appears here with the author's new Preface and revised text. The headpieces, initials and endpapers have been designed and the typography arranged by Pierre de Chaignon la Rose, printed under his direction at the Southworth Press, Portland, Maine.

Pierre de Chaignon la Rose (1871-1941) was an American heraldist and heraldic artist. He was a friend of George Santayana.
