William Bemrose junior (1831 - 1908) was a director of the printing business founded by his father, a director of Royal Crown Derby, a writer on wood carving and pottery, art collector, amateur painter [vice president of Derby Amateur Sketching Club], member of Derby Archaeological Society, etc.
I have been unable to trace any record of publication so this is probably a unique record of many of the surviving crosses in the County of Derbyshire: Allestree, Bakewell [3 crosses], Hope, Eyam [2 crosses], Ashford [remains], Bonsall, Headless Cross or Market Stone at Derby Arboretum, Head of Kings Newton Cross, Higham Cross, Great Longstone Churchyard, Longstone Market Cross, Part of Runic Cross Darley Dale, Rolleston from Tatenhill. Morley Cross, Repton Market Cross, Taddington Cross, Wheston Cross [2 crosses], Monyash Cross.
