Bookplate of T Gaisford, Decan, with his signature Ch[rist] Ch[urch] Oxford. Gaisford was a significant and highly respective academic figure and scholar: Dean of Christ Church, Regius Professor of Greek at Oxford, and curator of the Bodleian. Please note condition, but as it is an attractive item, and certainly could be restored. Priced accordingly. ESTC T54034.
