Superbly bound in crushed red morocco with an unusual modernist design of 13 narrowing concentric rectangles, gilt Zaehnsdorf 'exhibition' stamp on rear pastedown, gilt inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Very faint scratch to upper board, armorial bookplate of Walter Sidney Scott to the front pastedown. foxing to preliminaries, else fine. A beautiful and unusual Zaehnsdorf binding.
