Some toning and spotting. Stain to upper corner.
"Bertall" [Charles Albert d"Arnoux] (1820-1882) illustrator, caricaturist and early pioneer of photography. The accompanying English text is by "J.E."
This would appear to be the only book ever published by "Buckingham &Co.". 97 Newgate Street was in 1871 the premises of Thomas Bristo Ashford, the photographic publisher and "Fancy Stationer".
