THE DOLLY DIALOGUES. Reprinted from the Westminster Gazette.
Book Description
FIRST EDITION, first issue. 8vo. (7.2 x 5.6 inches). Four full page mono plates and front cover illustration by Rackham. Original pale yellow pictorial wrappers, with dark blue lettering and illustration toned in lighter blue. Some wear and soiling to wrappers, especially on spine, which has had some professional repair work. A few spots of foxing to the page edges but generally a clean copy throughout. The second published work to feature illustrations by Rackham but the first book to be wholly illustrated by him. -- Riall. pages 2 -3.
