A mystery-adventure story set on the borders of Zululand in Africa and tells of a courageous girl who grew into a strong and spiritually aware young lady who was thought to be a spirit by the Zulus.
There are eight illustrations by A.C. Michael throughout the book including a frontispiece protected by a tissue guard.
This is a First Edition First Impression in very good condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards are clean and the gilt emblem on the front board and the lettering on the slightly darkened spine is bright. There is minor shelf wear to the top and bottom edge of the spine. The toned and foxed end papers and pages are clean without marks, tears or inscriptions.
There is a neat book plate attached to the rear of the front cover.
Will be dispatched fully insured wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
