This is a copy of “The Lady of The Lake” by Sir Walter Scott and published by John Ross, Edinburgh in 1874 with lacquered Mauchline boards with a portrait of Sir Walter on the front and 4 small vignettes of Abbotsford, Melrose Abbey, Kelso Abbey and Dryburgh Abbey and there is a photograph of the Sir Walter Scott Monument in Princes Street, Edinburgh on the reverse.
