First edition, includes advice from mixing colours, stippling skies, colouring water and reflections in it, as well as colouring educational diagrams.
The details on colouring paper photographs and preparing them for colouring even extends to 'Colouring Paper Photographs to Resemble Oil Paintings' (p. 39-42). The final section regards crystoleum painting, and the illustrations to the advertisements show a range of photographic equipment including a panoramagraph camera, the 'Unique Transparence Lamp Shade', an easel for painting glass, transparent oil paints and dead black varnish for blocking out - all as sold by Tylar's.
