First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean. Sharp spine ends, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with white edges. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Previous owners name and date of purchase in ink to top corner of FEP. Feels very lightly read, a little shaken at head of spine due to weight and size of text block. Grades fine. Jacket is lovely and glossy with only the barest hint of sunning to spine, which is only noticeable as the red titles are a touch lighter than the front panel titles. Has been kept in a fitted archival cover since purchase. A superior copy of this scarce UK first edition, a fantastic example for a collector.
