The Road to Andorra, Shirley Deane, John Murray, 1960, Signed First Edition, First Impression A 1960 travel memoir written by Deane while on an extended stay on the Iberian peninsula with her artist husband and two small children. The front end paper has been signed and dated by the author with a neat personal dedication. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is minimal shelf wear to the top edge of the spine. The toned end papers and foxed pages are free from tears. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in good condition with loss to all the corners, a crease to the top edge of the front cover, loss to the top and bottom edges of the spine and nibbling to the top edge of the toned back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
