Volume two (M - Z): [iv], 367pp, 8pp book adverts. Spurgeon (1834-1892) was a Baptist preacher noted for his oratory at the Metropolitan Tabernacle. Spines of both volumes darkened. Front board of vol 1 a bit grubby. G+ nr VG. Scarce in this early edition.
