The binding is very good with just a touch of rubbing to the shoulders and corners, a little fading to the spine and minimal loss to the front joint at the head of the spine. the binding is firm and the endpapers uncracked with just a hint of toning to the edges of the free endpaper where they are in contact with the leather corners. Internally there is a bookplate for ‘Malacrida’ (possibly Piero and Nadja Malacrida). The pages are generally very clean with just a little toning to the uncut edges, occasional spotting, mainly to the edges and a couple of small chips of around 0.5 cm to the top edge of a couple of pages including the image of Mr Lipton, although neither the border or the image are affected. All in all a very scarce collection of this theatrical periodical with some excellent colour plates.
