Dealer Notes
originally issued in 1824 as ‘A New Plan of London and Westminster’, its title changed to the ‘Guide for Strangers’, the following year, this example being the first update thereafter. It extends from Pentonville to Lambeth, and from Hyde Park to London Docks, with the boldly printed title just below. The plan is overlaid with a lettered grid for the ‘Alphabetical List of Principal Streets with References to their Situation’, printed in 16 columns across the bottom of the sheet, the date below that has all but been trimmed off but appears on the slipcase
