COMMON SENSE FOR HOUSEMAIDS
Book Description
Published in London in 1862, this is the fourth edition of this very scarce Victorian instructional Paperback book for Housemaids, with instructions on the correct methods for cleaning and general housework and washing, etc. 95 pages. The covers have some marking and foxing, lacks the paper covering on the spine, a previous owner had used tape to secure the spine, this has now been removed but has left brown staining to the edges of the covers, internally noticeable foxing and browning to opening and closing few pages, some creasing to page corners else in good general condition. A seemingly very scarce book in any early edition form.
