Book Description

Published in Stockton in 1847, this is a scarce early printing of this long narrative poem on the famous North Yorkshire Hill Roseberry Topping and the surrounding towns and villages, book is bound in the original embossed patterned cloth titled in gilt to the spine, just over 7 inches tall (18cm) 63 pages of text plus illustrations. Binding has light rubbing wear and light marks, else in good condition, internally small brown stain to inner edges of a few pages, light browning to pages else contents in nice general condition. A nice example of this very scarce publication.
