The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is a mark to the edge of the bottom edge. The top edge retains its original red tint. The dust jacket is in near fine condition with crease marks to the top edge of the front cover, nibbling to the top and bottom edges of the spine and crease marks to the top and bottom edges of the back cover. Volume Two - The Blast of War 1939 - 1945, Macmillan 1967 The book is in fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pagers are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. The top edge retains its original black tint. The dust jacket is in fine condition with a very small nick to the top edge of the spine. Volume Three - Tides of Fortune 1945 - 1955, Macmillan 1969 The book is in fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inspections. There is a mark to the edge of the bottom edge. The top edge retains its original black tint. The dust jacket is in near fine condition with loss to the corners of the front cover, slight nibbling to the top and bottom edges of the front cover, loss and nibbling to the bottom edge of the spine and nibbling to the top edge of the spine. Volume Four - Riding the Storm 1956 - 1959 , Macmillan 1971 The book is in fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. The end papers are without tears and inscriptions. There are two marks to the bottom edge. The top edge retains its original black tint.
