Plexus: The Rosy Crucifixion, Henry Miller, Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 1963, First Edition, First Impression The second book in The Rosy Crucifixion, consisting of Sexus, Plexus, and Nexus, a fictionalised account documenting the six-year period of the author's life in Brooklyn. This book continues the story of Miller's marriage to Mona and covers his attempts to become a writer after leaving his job at the Cosmodemonic Telegraph Company. This book was published two years before the US copy. Sexus, the first volume in the trilogy, was initially banned in the UK. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is minimal shelf wear to the top edge of the spine. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There is foxing to all the edges. The unclipped dust jacket is in very good condition with slight nibbling to the top edge of the front cover, nibbling and a mark to the bottom edge of the front cover, nibbling to the top edge of the spine, a mark to the bottom edge of the spine, a small nick to the back cover and a mark to the bottom edge of the back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
