The Seven Seas, Rudyard Kipling, Methuen & Co, 1896, Special Limited Edition A collection of poems whose most prevalent themes are seafaring, English nationalism and the piety of God. This is a Special Edition, limited to 150 copies and printed on handmade paper. The book is in very good condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is a fade to the spine. The end papers and pages are free from marks and inscriptions. There is a small amount of damage to the join of the rear end papers. The top edge retains its original gold tint. It is rare to find this book, especially in such good condition making it an impressive addition to a library. Will be dispatched, fully insured and carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
