Dealer Notes
FIRST EDITION; dedicated by Woodcroft to Albert, the Prince Consort, this typographical triumph of Charles Whittingham, including 78 text wood-engravings of early machinery, commemorates the technical and engineering triumphs of the Great Exhibition held in the year of publication. It is notoriously difficult to find a fairly nice copy of this publication.
