This is a very nice original piece advertising the opening of the new Aylesbury Railway in 1839, The construction of which was under the general direction of Robert Stephenson, printed on a folding piece of paper, the printed side measures 23cm by 19cm approx. with a small blind stamp in the top left corner for an Aylesbury stationer,
The piece was formerly part of The British Transport Commission Historical Relics section collection, which was sold off some time ago
Item has some creasing wear else in good condition.
An extremely scarce survival .
