Gold-stamped decoration and title to front and company initials blind-stamped to corners. Marbled endpapers. 131 pages. Colour title page. Illustrated with black and white photographs and complete with two large folding maps inside rear endpapers. Rimell was the ex-Assistant Secretary of the Company and the book commemorates the birth and growth of Barry Town and Docks in addition to charting the history of the railway. Early owner’s name in ink to front endpaper. Loose inside are three typed pages of information on the opening of various lines and services with the heading Great Western Railway Dock’s Engineer’s Office Barry Docks dated February 1929. VG condition.
