Book Description

Second edition, a four volume complete set. The favoured edition of this classic county history, noted for the finely engraved plates, portraits and maps and for the many pedigrees ( several folding ) of the more notable Lancashire families. This is a large paper copy ( page height 31.5 cms ) and has the 46 extra plates. Sometimes referred to as a ‘subscriber’s copy’ ( see the York Minster Library’s copy Q42.72BAI ). Height ( of boards ) 32cms, width 27cms.
