Book Description
The original dust jacket is present and is in very good condition. There is some shelf wear, bumping and chipping to the extremities, with some loss to the top and tail of the spine. The jacket is now housed in a protective archival sleeve.
The original pink cloth hardback boards feature titles and illustrations in gold gilt. They are in very good condition, with only minor shelf wear to the edges, some bumping to the top and tail of the spine and light sunning to the top edge of the back board.
The spine is straight and the binding is tight. The interior pictorial endpapers, paste-downs and hinges are clean and in very good condition with the usual age toning lines.
The pages are clean with some minor spot foxing and toning. There are no previous owner’s marks, inscriptions or annotations. The top gold gilted page edges are in very good condition.
