Book Description

BOOK CONDITION | THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD | 1963 | The original dust jacket is clean with minor wear along top and bottom edges. There are two small linear tears along the front and back flap hinges and some minor chipping to the top & tail of the spine - however the book title and publishers logo are fully legible. The spine has been sunned and therefore has a lightened tone from its original red. The internal, lower front turn and back turn has a small water mark, however this is isolated to the dust jacket only and is not present on the exterior boards or the interior of the book itself. It has not been price clipped and displays the original price tag ‘18/- net’. The external boards are clean with some minor shelf wear top and tail of spine. The interior papered boards are clean, however there is a previous owners inscription/name in ink on the front free endpaper. All pages clean and tightly bound. No spillage marking or underlining within text. Burnt orange cloth covered hard boards with gold gilt lettering on spine.
