Book Description

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, J.K. Rowling, Bloomsbury, 1999, Deluxe First Edition, First Impression The second novel in the Harry Potter series. The film adaptation, released in 2002 became (at the time) the fifth-highest-grossing film ever. The story follows Harry's second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This book is a first impression of the Deluxe edition with a blue cloth covering, gold lettering and the author's signature on the front board and the original green silk ribbon is still fully attached. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is minimal wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine. The end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. Slight wave to the fore edge. It is rare to find this particular edition in such good condition making it an impressive addition to a library or a wonderful gift. Becoming increasingly uncommon and sought after. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
