Book Description

The Misadventures of Athelstan Digby, William F Harvey, Swarthmore Press, 1920 Harvey's second publication, a series of increasingly bizarre but connected short stories. Genuinely extremely scarce. The book has a christmas gift dedication from Harvey's wife from 1937, six months after Harvey's death. The binding (possible variant binding or rebind) is tight and straight, the boards are very good with slight rubbing and darkening to the spine and the endpapers and pages are clean without marks, tears or foxing. The best copy seen of this extremely scarce volume enhanced by the message from Harvey's wife to the first blank page. Will be dispatched fully insured, tracked and signed for, carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
